How do I get around and where can I park during the Christmas parade?
The Christmas parade promises to be spectacular this 22 December in Brive-La-Gaillarde. It should be a sight to behold.
To make the most of this event, please read the information on traffic changes, road closures and parking conditions.
Itinerary of the Christmas Parade
The Parade will start on Boulevard Koenig, then take the Avenue de Paris, the Promenade des Tilleuls and arrive at Place du 14 juillet.
Don't forget to dress in red to match the theme!
Where can I park?
Access to the Guierle underground car park
The Place du 14 Juillet (Guierle) underground car park will be exceptionally open and free of charge from 1pm until 11pm. Please note: entry and exit will only be possible from Quai Tourny.
Car parks Place Thiers
There is an underground car park close to the parade site, Place Thiers, which is also open and free of charge from 1pm to 11pm.
Trois Provinces car park
Continuing along the Corrèze, you can park in the Trois Provinces car park and join the Parade via the Voie Verte.
Surface car parks: Winston Churchill, Zola, Brune
These car parks are located not far from the Parade site.
Marcelin Roche car park
This car park is located near the Cardinal Bridge and Avenue de Paris on the banks of the Corrèze.
Please note that parking will be prohibited on 22 December from 2pm and the following streets will be closed to traffic from 5pm:
- Cours du 15 août 1944
- Avenue Victor Hugo
- Boulevard Koenig
- Avenue de Paris
- Boulevard Anatole France
- Avenue du 14 juillet
- Place du 14 juillet
- Promenade des Tilleuls
