Nativity scenes and Christmas masses
To help you organise your Christmas Eve celebrations, here's a list of Christmas masses to be held in Brive and the surrounding area.
Christmas Eve celebrations very often begin with Christmas mass, and this is one of the highlights of the festive season in general. Both practising and non-practising churchgoers flock to this very popular celebration. They are often called midnight masses, even though they are often not held at such a late hour. To mark the occasion, churches set up live, handcrafted nativity scenes or scenes adorned with Santons to depict the Nativity.
