- Festival in the city centre: leave your car at home and come by train, bus, bike, whatever you like!

A friendly, family-friendly festival
After years of concerts and hundreds of guest artists, the Lovely Brive Festival has managed to retain its much-appreciated atmosphere of proximity and conviviality. The sense of welcome is a strong value in Brive and it has brought back tourists travelling hundreds of kilometres to attend this event.
What's more, since 2010, in partnership with the Corrèze department, the Lovely Brive Festival has been giving young musical talent the opportunity to take part in a springboard competition to perform the following year on one of the Festival stages.
The must-see music event
One of the pioneers in New Aquitaine
Brive Festival has established itself as one of the leading urban festivals in New Aquitaine. In November 2022, it was awarded the prize for the best French contemporary music festival for audiences under 60,000 in Paris. It's a real accolade for the Limousin's biggest music festival.
Created in 2004 and called "Brive Plage Festival" until 2012, the festival initially ran for a week, offering a range of activities from sport to music. In 2005, with the Kassav' concert, music took centre stage and the festival was extended to two weeks. In 2012, Brive Festival will be supporting the configuration of the inaugural weekend with 4 concert dates. Since then, the festival has gone from strength to strength.
With over 51,000 festival-goers over 4 days (in 2024), the festival has established itself as one of the leading urban festivals in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
