L’Echappée Gaillarde : Mountain biking
The Échappée Gaillarde on 29 June 2025 will offer a choice of two mountain bike routes: 31km and 47km. Departures will be from the Place de la Guierle in Brive-La-Gaillarde.
News: L'Échappée is cancelled
The bad weather last Wednesday caused extensive damage to the paths, making them impassable.
A municipal by-law was issued today restricting access to the Parc de la Guierle.
In addition, the numerous obstacles on the paths and the risk of falling branches are jeopardising the safety of participants.
In view of these factors, the Échappée Gaillarde scheduled for Sunday 29 June is cancelled.
We thank participants for their understanding and remain at their disposal for any further information.

What we ♥ most about this route: the fanfare at the start from the Echappée village with an enthusiastic host and the pool party at the Collines de Ste Féréole for a festive and... refreshing!
47 km circuit
- D+930 m
- Departure from la Guierle at 8am
- Points of interest: Les Saulières, Les 2 Maumont (black and white), Travassac.
- Signs: Red FFCT arrow - fluorescent yellow background - orange tape.
What we ♥ most about this route: the passage of the 2 Maumonts promise you a good sweat. But don't panic! This route offers 2 themed refreshment points that should make you feel refreshed: a pool party at Collines de Ste-Féréole (see above) and a refreshment point at a local's house, which will light up its plancha especially for the occasion !
