Book Fair programme

The 2025 edition of the Brive Book Fair, from 7 to 9 November, has the same format as last year, but one thing is certain: the programme promises to be very rich, and you certainly won't have time to get bored!

A word from the Chairman François David

"We create encounters, we sow seeds", says François David, Chairman of the event.

"It's not just a contingent of authors we talk to before they leave, and there's a lot of upstream work in the classes".

The Book Fair starts on Thursday for schoolchildren. Around a hundred authors will be on hand to meet them on the Thursday and Friday of the event.

Two venues in 2025

Two venues are proposed:

the Espace des Trois Provinces (with its 2,500 m²) will host comics and children's authors. Families will be well catered for. Events are also planned.
La Guierle (Halle Georges Brassens) will host authors of general literature.

Evenings at the Book Fair

Music-hall Colette:

Cléo Sénia talks freely with Colette in a cabaret show full of joy and freedom. Tuesday 4 November at 8pm, Espace Jean D'Ormesson at the Théâtre Municipal. Ages 15 and up.

Soirée du Président Philippe Claudel.

Programme in progress. Friday 7 November at 8.30pm, Théâtre Municipal, Espace Jean D'Ormesson.

Bedside readings with Denis Podalydès and Jodyline Gallavardin.

To the sound of the piano, the star of the Comédie-Française delves into his favourite authors, amplifying the majestic echo of their words. Produced by the Festival de la Vézère. Saturday 8 November at 9pm at the Théâtre Municipal, Espace Jean D'Ormesson.

I'm here, but I'm not here with Pierre Richard

It's impossible to think of him without imagining a tall, blond, clumsy, absent-minded, naive man. And yet! The famous comedian was willing to bend the neck of his legend. Sunday 9 November at 8pm at the Théâtre Municipal, Espace Jean d'Ormesson.
