Price 12-17
The "Tu l'as lu" or 12-17 Crédit Agricole Centre-France Prize is awarded to a writer for secondary school pupils (aged 12-14) and another for secondary school students (aged 15-17). The winners are French-speaking authors.
A prize for children's literature
Supported by Crédit Agricole Centre-France, the Brive Book Fair awards two prizes to authors of children's literature. The jury is made up of experts in these age groups, since it is the young secondary school pupils of Brive-la-Gaillarde who, after reading the works of the authors selected, discuss them with the librarians and librarians to decide on the winners!
Prior to 1998, the 12-17 prize for children's literature was awarded jointly to a Quebec author and a French author as part of the Prix 12/17 Brive-Montréal.
