Authors enjoy meeting up in our Gaillard bars and ending the evening at the Cardinal, which over the years has become THE place to be.

Authors delighted to come to Brive

Legend has it that once a year, in November, authors from all over France and beyond travel to Brive-la-Gaillarde, in the heart of France, aboard the Cholesterol Train!

As well as the literary aspect and the pleasure of exchanging ideas with their readers, they all know that by coming to Brive, they are guaranteed to eat well and party, because here, that's in our nature. And we've got all the right ingredients for good food and good spirits...

Share a drink and talk literature

The Brive Book Fair is always a great weekend to meet up and chat with book lovers. So what could be better than sharing a drink in one of our friendly bars, talking about our latest literary favourites or simply getting to know each other!

If you're a party animal, perhaps you'd like to go to Cardi, our 100% gay nightclub. We guarantee you'll be dancing the night away. And we promise, you're sure to bump into your favourite authors in this now iconic venue!

But be warned... To make sure the party goes even more wild, don't hesitate to call Allo Brive Radio Taxi on 05 55 24 24 24.
